Hui Xian REIT's assets include:

1. Its investment in Hui Xian (B.V.I.) Limited, which in turn holds Hui Xian Investment Limited, the foreign joint venture partner of Beijing Oriental Plaza Co., Ltd., ("BOP") which is a sino-foreign cooperative joint venture established in the PRC. BOP holds the land use right and building ownership rights of Beijing Oriental Plaza,

 

2. Its investment in Chongqing Overseas Investment Limited, which holds Chongqing Investment Limited. Chongqing Investment Limited owns the entire interest in the Chongqing Metropolitan Oriental Plaza Co., Ltd, which is the registered legal owner of the land use rights and building ownership rights of Chongqing Metropolitan Oriental Plaza (formerly Metropolitan Plaza), 

 

3. Its investment in Shenyang Investment (BVI) Limited, which in turn holds Shenyang Investment (Hong Kong) Limited (“Shenyang Investment HK”), the foreign joint venture partner of Shenyang Lido Business Co. Ltd (“Shenyang Lido”). Shenyang Investment HK is entitled to 70% interests in Shenyang Lido, which is a sino-foreign cooperative joint venture established in the PRC. Shenyang Lido holds the land use rights and building ownership rights in Sofitel Shenyang Lido,

 

4. Its investment in Chongqing Hotel Investment Limited, which in turn holds Highsmith (HK) Limited.   Highsmith (HK) Limited owns the entire interest in the Chongqing Oriental Plaza Hotel Co. Ltd., Ltd., which is the registered legal owner of the land use rights and building ownership rights of Hyatt Regency Liberation Square Chongqing (formerly Harbour Plaza Chongqing),  and

 

5. Its investment in New Sense Resources Limited, which in turn holds Chengdu Investment Limited, the foreign joint venture partner of Chengdu Changtian Co., Ltd., (“Chengdu Changtian”). Chengdu Investment Limited is entitled to 69% interests in Chengdu Changtian, which is a sino-foreign cooperative joint venture established in the PRC. Chengdu Changtian holds the land use rights and building ownership rights in Sheraton Chengdu Lido Hotel.

The Grand Hyatt Beijing is one of the leading five-star hotels in Beijing. With its close proximity to the city centre and a number of major landmarks, as well as excellent transportation links and world-class services, it is popular with business travellers, celebrities and high-ranking government officials.

With 24 floors, the Grand Hyatt Beijing has a total of 630 guest rooms and suites. Each guest room and suite features desk space and in-room facilities, such as computer data ports for broadband internet access. A comprehensive range of leisure facilities are also on offer to the hotel guests, including a business centre and Club Oasis, which features a fully-equipped fitness centre with a 50-metre resort-style indoor pool.

Offering approximately 2,924 sq m of meeting space, Grand Hyatt Beijing has captured a significant amount of corporate business, including those for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (“MICE”).

A number of large conferences are held at Grand Hyatt Beijing annually. The attending delegates occupy hundreds of rooms, utilise almost all the function rooms, as well as generate tremendous food and beverage business.

The food and beverage outlets are also popular amongst local residents and travellers in Beijing, as well as hotel guests. “Noble Court,” the hotel’s Cantonese restaurant, was also awarded “Recommended Cantonese Cuisine” by Time Out Beijing (Chinese version) in 2009.
